Load Cells

Two-wired loop powered Load cell

CES manufacture two-wired loop powered load cells in-house to 80kN and 160kN tensile loads. The load cells can be supplied with load cell read outs on the control panel. The load cell electrical components are isolated within a sealed cover allowing for safe operation and long lifetime in the most extreme environments. 

Specifications:

  • Two wired loop powered 4-20 mA output signals
  • Available as 80kN and 160kN maximum tension
  • Primarily used for conveyor belt tension control systems or simple tension display.

S-type Load cell

  • S-type load cells are manufactured from aircraft grade anodised aluminium or high grade electroless nickel plated steel.
  • 50kg to 30000kg capacities.
  • Commercial applications include mechanical scale conversions and small hanging scales. Industrial applications include packaging machines, belt conveyors, and small batching systems.
  • The ‘S’ design can be used in tension or compression, but is best suited to tension applications where the side forces can be contained.
  • IP66 protection ensures long operating life in indoor and outdoor applications.
